08 B8 1.8T TFSI Saloon or B7 3.0TDI Avant

New here and have spent many hours reading. I've dropped a thread in the B8 section re B8 1.8T vrs B7 3.0TDI and would welcome your comments.

Why a saloon in one shape or an avant in the other mate?

i would go diesel in either to be honest but the 3.0tdi will be better than the 1.8tfsi which i think will feel very under powered in a car like the A4, what power output is the tfsi? i think its no more than 170?
