No Turbo whistle after Exaust Service

I'm just wondering if my turbo is still functioning properly. The turbo used to whistle every time i change gears, but now its quiet after servicing exaust- there's no more whistling sound at all, how ever its still performing well no power loss or anything. Is this good/bad?

Explain servicing the exhaust, just trying to get an idea of what's been done...

What was the reason for replacing the whole exhaust? Also when you say "the entire exhaust" do you mean from the cats back, or including the cats and the downpipe???

I would expect then that the new exhaust is sealed properly, and that the old one was blowing slightly.

That was where I was angling from but was trying to find out what was replaced

The exhaust had a leak so i decided to get a new one that comes with its cats and downpipe

Probably what Welly said above then. The leak made the turbo whistle louder than it should have been

No problem at all. In this instance the lack of a whistle is a good thing. I'm guessing the exhaust is a lot more quieter overall now too?
