A3 spacesaver wheel for 2011 sportback?

Hi Guys,
I have a new A3 Sportback - Sport with 225/45 17" wheels. I want to buy a Spacesaver tyre as the car only has the inflation pump as standard. I visit a lot of construction sites for work and I dont want to get caught without a spare wheel.
What size spacesaver do i need to buy?

I would also be interested in knowing whether this can be done......I hate those inflation kits and would much rather have the security of a space-saver in the boot,despite the weight penalty !

Anyone done it ?

That would be good.......I have the S3 so I need to make sure that the spacesaver will clear the brakes....anyone out there know what size/type of spacesaver and tyre I would need for that ?

i would assume it will as the A3 3.2 and S3 have the same brakes apart from a calliper retainer
