hi all,

i know this is not the rs4 forum, but i know alot of people who post in this part and ignore the other parts of the forum have a lot of knowledge when it comes to tuning.....

ok, i'll keep it simple, i've looked online and it seems i would want to change the turbos on the rs4 to achieve my desired 550bhp but, how much would this cost?

am i right in saying the following would need to be done / purchased - could you give an estimate i've looked around but i know you guys know what places to go!
  • purchase 2 hybrid turbos / sell old ones / or get the current ones turned into hybrids ?
  • larger front mount intercooler setup
  • silicon hoses all round in terms of air in take
  • larger down pipes
  • custom remap
  • forge dump valve or valves ?
  • uprated air filter
in terms of handling
  • suspension all round
  • top mounts all round
  • bushes all round
  • cv joints all round
  • front and rear arb
have i made any sense? do i need all the above to reach 550 bhp - do i need engine internal work done?

i'm looking at this one at the moment as it's had some work done already and it looks good.......

2002 (51) s3 8l with 70k miles - some service history prior to my ownership, plenty during my ownership, paint work has chips and marks all over and could do with a going over, it's mainly down to stone chips, current problems at the moment consist of a broken rear washer (common problem i believe) and erm that's it, mechanical wise it's had the following done within 12k miles..... (the problems are obviously fixed with the said parts)

460- 550 would cost 10k+

Ring Keith @ Dialynx or Doug @ Mrc as they are the S4/Rs4 People...

I have got a Dialynx S4 With Full Rs4 Conversion running about 530 ish as my Toy (reciepts for mine total over 46k...!!!)

based on you saying that i'd be much smarter and wiser finding someone who's done all the work already then lol!!
