Leather roof good or bad? and how???

Just found this on wheel whores and love the idea! i know its not to everyones taste and im not to keen on the brown but would deffinetly consider a black leather roof to match my bonnet bra..

I can get hold of enough of the black leather for cheap enough but how would i secure it to the roof?

I have to say I love that 106! I think its owner has been really creative and should be applauded!
Not sure how the leather would look on an 8L... it would have to be a fairly unique looking car to begin with in order to pull it off.

IMO it could work in Black (No Designs)
Even the Material they use on Cabriolets could look good.

I wouldn't do a DIY if it was my ride.

Also could be High Maintenance....

Why not do a Wrap..... At least you can remove it if U don't like.... and DIY would be doeable.

I love the whole euro scene, give me deep dish alloys and smooth bodywork any day but something about that 306 makes me want to drive it into the sea. I think vinyl on the roof would look 100x better.

my mate covered the roof of his mk2 a couple of years ago brown paint draker brown leather , coming home from E38 on his own pops into a services for a pee and when he comes out he just see a gang of boys in a corsa ripping the leather of and jumping back into their car and driving off with it with him giving chase , he didn't find it funny at the time but everone else did , he came around to the funny side later on

he used the stuff you stick vinyl roofs on with
