Hi,

My 1997 A3 failed it's MOT last week, exhaust bracket, brake light bulb and the fact the ABS light is on. The ABS light came on about 6 weeks ago after I'd been driving in snow for about a month and I've never had a problem braking since it came on. Can anyone let me know how to turn the ABS off so the light won't come on and I can pass the MOT? I'm thinking removing the fuse but I'm not sure which one to take out and can't find a diagram in the Haynes manual

Cheers

you need the fault code read and cleared
and repaired

it may still fail with bulb out or covered
as they look for it to come on then go off

you should tell my local mot place that
cos they failed me b4 with it on
as its a fault in the abs they wont pass he even showed my the book
