next week i will be getting my clutch replaced on my :s3addict: due to it slipping,i took the car out today and was finding it hard to get second gear sometimes, could this be down to the clutch been worn or is it something else?:ermm:

could be. i'd see if its still doing it after the clutch replacement

I agree with the above, wait and see what the outcome is. Clutches failing often make gear selection hard.

yeah hopefully it is the clutch getting other gears seems fine may be just abit harder to get first but second was hard but then it seemed to get better or may be it was me getting use to it but thanks for the replys:yum:

I was driving round with a slipping clutch for a month or so and I never had a problem with selecting gears. A dodgy gear selector fork can make it harder and sometimes impossible to select a gear. Its probably not this but it would be worth inquiring because the gearbox would need to come out again after the clutch has been done.

Cheers.
Sean.
