need a quick bit of help please

i got 2 questions, first off is whats the best boost gauge to get for about £40. i got a AutoGauge boost gauge, but its rubbish, its lost 2PSI already, i guess pay cheap get cheap.

second is how to people wire up a gauge to the A pillar on the drivers side, just use a long hose and pull it through the dash, or is there a grommet on the drivers side

Where is it routed now?
Wipers off, scuttle panal off,feed the pipe into the same grommet as the bonnet pull easy....

At the moment it goes in the grommet in the right of the engine bay and throught the dash then to the pillar.
I tried using the bonnet pull grommet but a 8MM hose wouldn't going down it

Your using 8mm hose for a boost gauge??? should be 3-4mm

its 5mm I.D but the O.D is 8mm

Are you certain it is not leaking, hence the 2psi drop? I would get some silicone 3mm, is it the clear tube you get with the kits that you are using, if it is bin it!

no its a double walled silicone hose

I used 3mm silicone hose and some 5mm od nylon hose ( from an old nitrousoxide kit i have ) to go through the grommet .
Works fine, and didnt need such a large hole in the grommet,
