Government UFO Records

I was actually searching the archives for a war record and this was on the home page.

Like you say, it passes a few hours.

Cheers dude, very interesting reads....

I have been studying stars and planets recently and whichever way we look from earth, however far we peer into space we see galaxies. There are billions of them. It is impossible to know how many galaxies exist. Astronomers estimate that there are about 100-125 billion. There is one galaxy that we know - that's the Milky Way (our home galaxy). It consists of 500,000 million stars (one of which is the sun).

The Milky Way is barred spiral galaxy, because we are inside it. All we see is a mixture of full spiral arms and short segments, but not the milky way's complete shape. It's like being inside a forest trying to work out its size and shape, and how many trees it's made of. The Sun is about 25,000 light years from the centre of the Milky Way. From where we are, we get good views of many of the galaxy individual objects. About 90% are stars, the rest is gas and dust. The dust limits our view of the centre. This is a very active and crowded place and is home to an immense black hole, million times more massive than the sun.

The Milky Way is part of a cluster of about 30 galaxies. The biggest is the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy. It is 2.4 million light years away and is the most distant object that we can see with our eyes.

So we are definately not alone. :photo:

there will be life somewhere else, now if they have the resorses or technology to travel the distances needed to find other life and even set off in the right direction. The chances of finding other inteligent life is very remote
