coilpack removal

can anybody give me some help on how to remove the coilpack on the s3 8p

i can see little clips at the top but they dont seem to want to do anything just look like there going to snap??

i dont have a owners manual need to get one lol!

so any help asap would be really grateful as im about the change the coilpack/plugs

Very easy mate with the right tools

Rock the lip on the clip backwards gently until you hear a little "click". Repeat for all 4 clips.

After the connectors are all unclipped, push them off toward the back of the car. You should now be looking at this.

thanks alot mate very very helpfull ill give that a try now! i already tryed unclipping he little clips back buts its just like they want to snap! ill give it another try!

Yes they can be a real pain to remove!! Nice idea with the tie wraps!

it always helps to push the connector as if you were refitting them and at the same time pulling the release clip back.
