First (part)service by myself

Hi all
Serviced my 12 plate tdi today. Well i say service, i done the pollen, oil, air and fuel filters and topped up with quantum. All supplies via ebay but genuine Bosch parts and the oil from a Vauxhall dealership.
What else should i be doing to complete the service? Car has full dealership record up till now and is on 55k miles. Recently remapped via a quantum dealeship with (till now

) no issues.

Assume manual gearbox. Sounds fine to me and is probably more than most generic High Street garages would do. The dealer would examine the tyres, measure tread depth, report on brake pad wear, check the wipers and change the brake fluid (normal 1st change after 3-years and every 2-years thereafter). The dealer might also try and offer you a aircon service/re-gas and suggest a cam belt change - based on the 5-year recommendation.

Tyres are ok for a while. The front discs and pads were replaced under warranty last year ( warranty has lapsed now but only done 5k since last service) Not sure in brake fluid, may have to look at doing this later in year??
Also when purchased from Audi timing belt and water pump were done.
Hopefully that's most things.

And when dealers “report” on brake and tread wear what that normally means is they lie saying things are far more worn than they are and quote horrific prices to replace
