I preferred the red back lighting on the controls as well, the white back-light is a bit harder on the eyes

I was also surprised with chrome but it looks good against the red....Black grills are ten a penny on the A3 lineup.

Some very nice motors on here! Here's a couple of my A3 2.0 TDI S-Line:
The first two are from the advert where I knew instantly that I'd finally found the right one, the third image shows the only addition that I've made to the car (a Daddy's little girl on board sign!) and the last image is from one of the many adventures I've had in this car, where I spent the majority of a day stranded - thankfully I had made sure when looking for an A3 that it had to have heated seats!

I know what you mean but I like to pretend and blame it on the weather as I'm sure the mornings weren't ever this cold (back in my day).
Haha, yes but even in finer weather me and the Mrs have them on just to feel nice the back.

I haven't quite reached that stage yet, haha! I like having them there as a treat for those times of the year where it's particularly hard to leave bed in the early hours.
Nothing wrong with heated seats! Especially if leather .... even had mine on the lowest setting this morning.
Can't wait till its properly cold and get in the car in the morning (I will still be wearing t-shirts) and set the heated seat to setting 3 .... a few mins later, its like heaven haha.

Are you one of those lads that also wear shorts when it is -5 degrees C. I would love to see your face when you get stuck on a deserted road.
Hahaha. I was much better in the cold when I was in my mid teens. Went out a few days before Christmas in a t-shirt in jeans.
Now I'm a wimp and wear jeans again at 17c!
But! You don't get the same feeling of a heated seat when you've got many layers on! Just takes a few minutes of shivering while you wait for the fans to warm up.
Need a pre heating feature from a mobile app or something

Well today was collection day. Lovely handover with the great unveil and a bottle of Audi branded Champagne and Audi iPhone cable.
Car was prepped pretty well, some bits of glue and some marring on the bonnet so went straight home and gave her her first detail. Tardis for the glue, Dodo lime prime by machine bought up the paintwork a treat with a hit on menzerna on the bonnet to take out the bits of marring from a bonnet sticker I assume. Topped with Pinnacle sovereign wax, oh how nice it is to have a colour which rewards a nice product.
First impressions of the car are how comfortable and luxurious it is, fit and finish is top notch and the Nappa leather is so comfortable. CarPlay works well without touch screen, google maps look great. Feels tight at the moment and very quiet so hopefully will get louder as it opens up. 37.2mpg for the journey home which is more than expected this early.
Today is a very good day!!!

I have mine on very regular, nice even when it’s warm, find it helps my back ache in the morning. Just wish heated steering wheel was an option..

At Stirling Audi collecting the wife’s TT tonight.
Although there’s an A3 in the pic, I was really taking a pic of how big the Q8 looks beside it. What a beast!
