Glowplugs

Looking at replacing glowplugs but when looking some say 4.4 volt and some say 12 volt how can I find out what variant I need. And how easy do they come out of engine

Use plenty of plus gas on them after a run and remove the day after.

I changed one of mine and the hardest part was getting the electrical connector off the top as it was in an awkward position.
