Fitted Methanol injection system to the S4 to keep those IAT’s in check this summer
Hi cerebra, what made you go with meth, is there a thread on this as I have a ton of questions but know nothing....I have a revo 1+ on a b8, does meth just improve cooling or increase power ? Thanks

I used Meth before on my BMW 335i with great results. Depending on how it is installed, number of nozzles and the mix used it can be used for either cooler or power or both. Tbh I just have a single small nozzle in the intake pipe for cooling. Google Meth on Audizine and there are a couple of thread. PM if you have any questions or need any help

Had to call out Greenflag today. Stuck in a rural village in Oxfordshire. Car wouldn’t start or anything. Bloke came out, and he turned the key upside down and it started! Well cheesed off cos I tried all that.

Suspected key fob battery. So changed them, and see what happens! He said he had been to 5 battery issues today which was very unusual in this weather...

Thanks cerebra, will ask the google. £1150 is a good price for those, mine are badly kerbed but I am attracted to kerbs so have never taken the plunge, but also addicted to hp and that is an addiction regularly fed!

If you like the kerbs that much you def don’t want 20’s! Lol

Actually it was, but a few minutes after posting, I found this site and placed an order. :)

I’ve copied you and got them too :) just got them today, very nice. The “W” is a bit big maybe and the rear plates and more orange than normal plates but they look pretty good I reckon.

How did you fit yours? I don’t want screws or a plate holder, so I think I’ll just use the double sided tape they send with it, feels like there should be another strip in the middle though.

I’ve seen one place advises Velcro but that makes it a bit easy to nick if you ask me.

Glad you like them. This is the first time I've used plate holders; before then, I've always used double-sided sticky pads. If they haven't supplied enough, you can get packs of it from Halfords for about a fiver.

What plate holder did you go for? I would prefer them but I’m not a fan of the extra bulk they add around the bottom, though I have seen one on eBay which is almost invisible.

Any ideas what I’m doing tonight?

Yep new to plugs, old ones were very loose not even finger tight !

Also rerouted some of the auxilery earth leads that I have fitted , does any one else use these?
Was a very popular thing to do a few years ago

Answer: paid for it. :)

The balloon payment left my account overnight, and it's now all mine.

Well done Jeff. Be beans on toast for a few weeks. Maybe vary it a little and have spaghetti hoops a few nights, lol. :) x

My A4's clocked up 206k now and the passengers seat has had some water(?) marks on it for a while now. Decided to get some interior shampoo and see if I could improve them at all. I missed to take a before and after photo of the front seats, but the photo of the water is just from cleaning the front seats!

before and after photo is of half the rear bench. It didn't look half as bad as the front ones and I'm guessing it's only been sat in for a fraction of those 206k.

The seats were still drying so may need another going over in a couple of days.

First thing my wife said was “they look a bit chavvy” but she would pick that up more than most I reckon! I like them, the letters aren’t too pronounced and barely any different from standard plates (the font is identical), just that little bit nicer.

Hi Tashfeen. You had your car lowered by any chance?

I have. I am on Eibachs. Pro-Kit to be precise and love the stance and ride height. Awesome don't do Eibachs or shall we say they don't 'recommend' them.
