A3 road noise question

When driving our a3 at motorways speeds generally in wet conditions is sounds as though there is a door open but it's not

Any one else get this problem, I would imagine not to get this noise on an audi as i don't get it on any other of my cars?
 
I had that problem in my A3 2,0 FSI -04. For example, if u were driving in wet conditions u could here the water splashing as if the driver/passenger door were open.

Had the car just a few months before so I didn't care to fix it.
 
I get this all the time.
I'm forever flicking the electric window switches,thinking that my daughter has left one down slightly.
 
I had this noise on my golf and my A3 and they were both three doors. what was causing the noise for me was the door sagging down (due to the quality of the of course) look at the door and see if its in line with the rear off the car. VW and AUDI sorted this for me and noise was gone. just an idea for ya
 
My S3 is noisy. Currently adding 60sq ft of sound deadening!!

And then saving up for a remap to get the performance back to the way it was before? :)
