Just seeing who people use for remapping to stage2 - Tried the likes of MRC and Unicorn but the prices they charge is too much for me.

so who do you know that maps these?

Can recommend Revo.

How much does it cost Revo stage2?

Would rather have a proper custom map than flashed on file.

If you want a custom map then you pay custom map prices unfortunately mate.

As above If you want a proper job you need to pay some money. I am not surprised you find MRC expensive but Rick at Unicorn is one of the best and getting the most out of a car with mods is not the work of 5 minutes. Do it cheaply and you will probably end up doing it twice to get it right, and it will cost you more in the end. What car is it and what mods have been made ?

Buy cheap you by twice

Just x2 mappers in the UK for custom mapping then? pmsl

Most of you guys are replying as if ive never had a custom map before:)

No there are many more companies that can do custom mapping. Where abouts are you in the country as I presume you don't want to drive too far.
How much do you want to pay if Unicorn is too expensive ?
MRC
JBS
UNICORN
AMD
Storm Develoments
Badger 5
REVO
ADE
P Torque
R-Tech

There are others as well. Some will do a better job than others and some will cost more. Places like Unicorn, R-Tech , Badger 5 etc the owners write the maps and can adjust them specifically to the car and what you want.

I'm based in Newcastle, But willing to travel anywhere in the UK to get it mapped really. obvs the closer the better but have travelled many times for mapping so I'm pretty easy.

for custom road mapping probs find upto £350 fair price and for not so large company with dyno tuning upto £500

I'm a little new to vag mapping world but can judge a who to go for from abit research.

I would recommend Rick at Unicorn. He owns a Golf R, I think it has been recovered after being stolen. He has tuned many S3's and Golf R's and has produced some quick cars, not just big numbers on a dyno but real world performance on quarter mile runs and using a VBOX to log acceleration.

I would also like to recommend Revo.

I'm stage 2 manual and love it, just waiting to go get the high torque software installed next weekend.

Sure stage 2 was around £700+ ish.

Been through the list thanks.

So far JBS and ADE are looking good, just waiting to hear back from them now.
