What tyres came with your facelift A3?

Hi,

Just wondering what tyres came with your facelift Audi A3?

My pre facelift came with continental contisportcontact which were really noisy.

Hope these don't come with the face lift model because if they do I may ask the dealer to swap them on delivery.

My PFL came with Continentals, 19", hated them with a passion. My FL came with Pirelli P Zero's, 19". Feel better than the Conti's but get noisy at motorway speeds.

The Conti's were truly awful on rough tarmac - so noisy I have to turn up the volume on the radio. They were only good on freshly laid tarmac road (which is only about 1% of the time!).

I've had 17" Dunlop Sport Maxx RT on my last two A3s and Hankook SV1 on the one before that. Both were very quiet tyres that gave good performance. If the new A3 I have on order comes with anything other than these I will be changing them!

They wont change the tyres full stop, unless you pay them,its not the dealers fault

Best performance tyre Michelin Pilot Super.....for all around performance including light snow Continental DWS-06..weird tread but a great tyre and they will be going on my car soon after it arrives.....not a fan of Audi Pirelli P Zero or Continental Sport Contact 5 supplied OEM tyres.....Most OEM tyres leave a lot to be desired....tuned for economy and roll resistance

I would not expect the dealer to change he tyres. I will just purchased a set of four and get them changes by the local tyre depot. The local depot will be a lot cheaper than Audi.
