No RS3 orders being taken

Supersport seats are better visually, but add nothing more when you are driving. Might just make your car slightly less desirable come resale.
That's exactly the points I would make. They look nicer and they probably help resale value but I think in use they're actually worse. There's no adjustable headrest (so nowhere to clip your GoPro to!), and most of the adjustments are manual, unlike the other seats which are all electric.

Good luck I say mate.:tongueclosed:
Don't listen to the negative folk on here, they're just jealous that you might well be getting your hands on a nicer car than they can have when you're only 19.
Life is for the living I say... and at 19, with the keys to an RS3 in your pocket, you are living the dream ha ha ha...:sunglasses:
Fingers crossed for you...

Do you not think that 19 year olds need the advice of their elders?
I never once said that he shouldn't buy the car, just that £45k is a lot for a used car and 10% interest is very high. Do you disagree?
I'd negotiate a bit more to get the cost down from £45k, and shop around for finance, but at 19 negotiation and value for money admittedly isn't a priority.

No jealousy at all, I'd never have this Sportback version of the RS3.
Saloon maybe one day (I'll certainly have a test as soon as its available) after I've had a few years of driving fun in my poor mans Renault.

Terminator, I'm so confused, who has hated on the current car? As has been said a gazillion times before, the reason we're hoping a FL comes out is because we like the current one which has ceased production and ******** us all up.

Ref to "a proper RS" that isn't an Audi? As I say clueless.

TX.

@AudiNutta you do what makes you happy kid, but my concern would be 362 bhp under your right foot... Lol lot of responsibility for someone so young....

Proper drivers RS was the wording used rather than your quote, which was tongue in cheek, but is accurate all the same.
The RS3 has many upsides, although there are better drivers cars out there. If you are unwilling to acknowledge that, then I would suggest that cluelessness lies closer to home.

There are many marques that use the RS moniker. Two of which's most recent releases are arguably better drivers cars than the RS3.

None of this is hatred though, just critique.

I'm very sensible, believe it or not haha. I look after whatever I have, I will be using it more for noise than speed haha ;)

They want a ridiculous amount of paperwork from me, which is fine.. but they also want a letter from my employer guaranteeing pay.. no chance, if they won't give on that it's a no go :(

Why are you even on here Craig? Surely there are better forums for your "talents" .

Always find that a funny one. I mean, how can an employer guarantee anything?!

Exactly! I can't ask my boss, he's new to the business and I don't think it would go down very well haha.

Still ongoing :( Hopefully I hear today! On the positive note, the car was privately owned by a woman from new and she sold it because she weren't buying a house and couldn't afford it. No work is registered on Audi's national database for it ever being back in the workshop since PDI, sounds like a good find compared to most demonstrators. The number plate on the car and he private plate had ARA in common, so I guess she chose the plate too.. :)

What are they quoting you Per month @AudiNutta if you don't mind me asking? Any money in? Over how many years?

Start a new thread! 'AudiNutta - Did he get the RS3' thread!

It's £699 per month, £3000 in. The car is advertised for £45k, I'm £2.5k in negative equity in my A3 so he's sorted that out too. 48 months too.

Would be good, this is dragging out long enough haha!!

You are right there are many cars under the RS moniker, but this is the RS3 forum... remember?
Clueless about better drivers cars... not really... but again, this is the RS3 forum, right?
....... can you see a pattern here Craig.........
SHOCK, HORROR!
THIS IS AN RS3 FORUM!
I'm sure if I went onto the Renault Megane RS forum telling everyone on there how my Audi RS3 is a proper RS model, then people might question my motives for doing so and would probably tell me to get lost. Not that I would, as it would be a waste of my time as I love my RS3 which is IMO the best handling, and most proper RS around (on this forum anyway).

I'm quite pleased you're actually buying it, rather than renting it as so many people do these days. The reason being that I feel sure that the apparent increases in car accidents and people driving like dicks is related to the massive increase in people renting their cars and not really looking after them because they don't have the same sense of ownership.

I read the start of your post and was about to comment about how there's nothing wrong with renting but have to say I agree with you. Know a lot of people who lease their cars and don't give sh*t about looking after them

Finance has been declined, that's the dream over. It was now or never, my financial situation won't change until next summer and that's too late for me.. I'm sticking myself into that agreement for 4 years, plus there will be no hatches left.

I've asked for my deposit back and I will have to slowly disappear off here, really struggling to stay positive right now haha.

Thanks for all your help and support guys, it's gone a long, long way.

I got a car with 9k on last time, it's a bit of a dog to be fair. The clutch is on its last legs, it had a pitch paint job with aerosols in all the door shuts and the one wing, all noticed after I got it home. I wanted new because I know how it will of been looked after. 1800 miles was the best I could get.

It's not about that car now sadly, it's in general Audi won't lend that kind of money to me. It's taken us hours today to gather everything they wanted and I've still been declined. I don't think I will get anything over £30k. I'm looking at a 2.0TDi A4 Avant now, the sensible option all along.

If you had £700 per month available to pay off a loan, then stick with your current car for 12 months and put that £700 into an ISA instead. You'll probably be able to order a brand new FL FB 400bhp RS3 then, and you'll be in a much stronger position and need much less finance. Your insurance will have dropped a huge amount too.

I've thought about that but he new engine is tinny crap. I can't go from an Audi to a Ford, Audi is my dream car.

That's what I planned on doing but current indications show that the FL will be 2018 for delivery and I can't cope with that haha.

Got a link jassey

Audinutta, there's some other great cars out there for that kind of money. Porsche Cayman, 997 Turbo, M4 etc. Or for about a 1/3 of the monthly cost/£250pm you can lease a Golf R. Having test drove them all (A45 AMG, Focus RS...) I can tell you it's a superb drive.

With Audi continually delaying the launch of their cars and not keeping potential customers updated, it's looking like I'm going to be forced away from the marque, especially so because I'm not willing to go secondhand and paying their ridiculously high used cars interest rates.

I have looked as Porsche, but the options take the car into silly prices and to be honest I wanted something a bit bigger. I've looked at an M4, the latest BMW's are superb looking cars but the interiors do absolutely nothing for me. I have a real soft spot for BMW, always have.. but for me at the moment I think it's got to be Audi. I would have an S3 over a Golf R (I do love a Golf, if Audi wasn't there, I'd have a VW) but they are just too quiet.. great fun and a quick car nonetheless, but they just don't compare to the 5 pot.

Audi really are taking people for a ride at the moment and those who have waited so long for news, are obviously going to feel disheartened.

Teasing us with the RS models, to announce the FL but state that orders don't open for another 12 months is ridiculous. That's why I'm in the position I am in now, desperate to get myself into a Sportback while there are still a few quality cars left.

Nutta if you fancy a deal on a new m140i or 240i I know a guy best in Country.

Your 3k down you get spec up m140 for about 350 a month he can get m performance exhaust on too good noise
