Write off or not

Have resigned myself to the fact that they will repair my car.
All i can hope is that it all goes well with the repair and they do not find any surprises.

I wouldn't be that worried, just get the AA and/or a detailer to check the work//finish. Reassuringly you'll only find out if the repairs were successful or not if they fail catastrophically during a smash, so look on the bright side.... :)

To be honest it looks so modular that it's all repairable and most of the strength is in the floor anyway (think cabriolet).

The repairer has said they will send the car to the Audi dealer i purchased it from, so they can give it a full checkup.
They have said they want me to be 100% happy with the car before giving it back to me.

The repairers are sounding pretty reasonable on this, just a shame churchill didn't write it off to begin with! i can imagine the bill from the repairer is going to be rediculous by they time they've done all the work

The rep airs are concerned as well as to what they will find when they start the repairs.
So they are going to talk to the assessor to find out what the money gap (before it becomes a write off) is before they start the work.

Here are a few pics of how she looks now
Still a way to go before i get her back

Biggest question is are you happy with the work? As you can't really tell from photos. Although you'd never know it had that level of damage looking at it now.

Oh yes more than happy with the car, it's just like when it came out of the showroom

Excellent news. I know when I had a major rear shunt in my old e46 bmw (which they repaired) I checked it over with a fine tooth comb. No doubt you've done exactly the same.

Enjoy it now it's taken some time to get where it is. And don't park near a wall again

Impressive repair thats for sure!

Hopefully you get no annoying rattles or things in time after 90% of interior took out.
