Agreed and jealous :) i have a dash just waiting on some loom parts but I'm converting to edc16 at the same time :)

That looks awesome.

Are you willing to make a "how to" ?

Thanks to all, make a "how to" is impossible...consider that you have to swap bcm, gateway, doors ecu, fuel senders, steering ecu, oil level sensor and comfort ecu...I made a custom wiring loom, months to testing it! Unfortunately I didn't take a photo to the wiring loom before the definitive retrofit, but it was very difficult

I am a car mechanic and I fix VAG cars, but making a custom wiring loom is something I will never try. Mostly because anything with more than 6 wires, is too complicated for me.

That is really cool and the ultimate for OEM+ Upgrades on the interior

Well done, looks ace!

Me and Scott wanted to try something like this.. We stil will! I'm changing the LED's for sure!

Im planning to use a full 8p loom and modify the car around to suit ... im going nuts at it right now...

As promised, two photos with sunny light!

That looks amazing mate, very impressive work there!!

Doesnt look out of place at all.

Well done :)

That looks awesome!

Does it have needle sweep as well now?

Thank you to everybody!
Yes, the needle sweep is working (see photo 4 in the first post). The only things that doesn't work is the assistant to gear change, (but depends from engine ecu that doesn't send the right signal) and the immobilizer, always because of different signals with engine ecu (this cluster is immo IV, my engine ecu immo III)

Well done mate!!!

Defo updating the 8L for sure.

Awesome Work have you thought about getting a flat bottom steering wheel ?
How hard will this be if I have a 2.0tfsi engine in my 8l ? Thanks

Hello,
I didn't see your reply! I answered to your PM. i thinked to the flat bottom steering wheel but, because of the price and the "too modern" style, I didn't put it: I prefer to change the Rns-e with a led one to add the OPS to the 8 parking sensors that I have ;)

I bought the tfsi oil level sensor to have also the oil temperature working in the cluster.
