Black is deffo the fastest colour to bankrupt you.

Good spot!! Bit cheeky not putting up that it had been hit!

Good spot!! Bit cheeky not putting up that it had been hit!

Current owner says he's only had it 7 months so he might not even be aware of the bump to be fair,

I wouldn't of paid 6k for that a few months back knowing it had been hit.

Well it's the same number plate and like the owner mentioned it's a rare colour. Hmmm cheeky, certainly not at that price. Plus I agree, silver is the fastest colour, I got a speeding ticket on Christmas Day to prove it lol

Only interior pic is as far away from the dash as you can get ? And its had a prang ?

The only S3 I would have is a Mocha coloured one, that'd be a rare beast.

For the record Blacks the fastest

I quite like that, its different. With some subtle tweeks you could get that looking very smart..

Dont think that the bump (having seen it) would be enough to be a real no no for someone, providing is not on vcar. Bit naughty not putting it on ad, but then again hes not had it long so may not have known..

Looks like there are some low milers around Jersey.. Mines at 54k.

I agree s3Easty, would be a nice car for someone. Not sure what the milage of other s3's are in Jersey, don't think there is a meet/club over here. But i'm sure they will be averagely lower than UK, can't exactly go far here!!

Thats very true, I recall when I worked for Honda that we ended up getting a couple of cars traded in that were mega low compared to what the uk equivelants were for same age.
Just to clarify im in uk. Could have phrased the last post a bit better.oops.
Back to topic, I agree with some of the guys comments that 6k would be a little OTT.

Is someone going to upset him and tell him the bad news?

I recognised the car from the plate and indeed it was someone on heres that had a crash in it a while ago.

So, a car's had a bump.
It's been repaired properly - to a really good standard according to the thread linked to.
It's not been written off.

Why should a Vendor declare this?
It's for the buyer to inspect the car. If he's not competent to do so then should get an RAC or AA Inspection.

On the other hand if a purchaser asks if its had bodywork then he should say that it has

Just come back on here after a few years, I used to own that car and yes i did crash it.
Basically had a new front end on it to a high standard, think it cost almost £6k to repair and I only sold it to buy a Focus RS.
It only had 40k miles on it when i sold it in 2011.
Hope this helps any future buyers.
