Xenon Ballasts - S3

Guys

I had my ballasts changed under warrenty just over 2 years ago.

Since the beginning of the year, my gf has complained, when following her in the car, that I keep flashing her with the lights.

I have been noticing recently when driving past road signs that my lights are flickering like crazy. I believe these have a 2 year warrenty (which I might just be out of) and are expensive

Has anyone a part number for them?

Going to go into Audi this afternoon and do battle.

Mine were doug the same thing then sometimes come up on dash saying bulbs were out. I ended up paying £128 for bulb and ballast per corner

Don't have cornering lights. Went to Audi there and they are emailing me price and part numbers.

Might be the auto leveling at fault so will get it plugged into vagcom and see if there are any issues.

well i have the ce uint for cornering
autolevel unit
1x housing
2 x bulbs 2 x ballasts all for cornering

make me an offer if you want they were all functioning perfectly

Boyd, i thought one of my ballasts was on its way out around Christmas time, Audi Nottingham quote me ~£155 :O

You can pick some pretty good deals on ebay.de, think i saw quite few for half the price so i'd have a look there before buying.

Thats what kills buying Brand new Xenons. The Modules.

and nathan lad tell me about it if i coulda sourced the units used i would have. just my luck a week after i ordered a brand new set popped up for ebay and went for less than half what i had to shell out

Yeh could be just the bulbs mate, I had some flickering xenons in the past and 2 new D1S (in my case) bulbs fixed the problem.

I bought mine for â¬ 38 on ebay from hk onlinehandel in 2009 and they still work perfectly...and yeah, you don't want to know what ridiculous prices Audi wanted for exact same bulb :tocktock:
