Yeah it would, it would kick the sh*t out of it regardless of tuning as long as it still had a KO4 on it. If you don't believe it that is your problem and more fool you, there are literally tens of people on this forum who have seen it. You don't see any of them arguing....
have you ever been in a fully stage two A3? What power is your S3?

If your S3 was on a KO4 you wouldn't have stood a chance, you'd have looked as slow as every other S3 is matey.

That doesn't prove any point, other than that you've had a pretty rapid S3 with a 2.7 in it. (I was aware of your cars long before I started this debate with you)
It doesn't disprove my factual argument which has been proven many times that no standard turbo'd S3 will be quicker than a stage 2 A3. You've popped up into the **** waving competition, told me I'm full of rubbish and then disproved me by posting something irrelevant.

Woohoo this debate went off track, didnt know it was a A3 v the world thread lmao.im going for a full stage 2 on a k03s so i too shall have the a3 chip on my already broken shoulder lol so stage 1.5 s3 v stage 1 lcr? I think we all know the answer to this

Westys car is scaring me a little, up until now it has been ok for me to make mistakes and the speed of my car has.made up for it. Westy can actually drive though and has about the same power to weight. I just have my fingers crossed for his fake 4wd slowing him up hahahaha.
On a serious note, I honestly cannot wait to have a play with Neil. Will be proper interesting!

Iv recently been in this allegedly quick a3... It's alright for an a3 I suppose, fairly pacey when it feels like it, when it doesn't feel like it, it just bangs and pops.
I think the s3 0-60 is let down by the fact you have to be in 3rd to even hit 60.
The fake 4wd seems to work well on the strip, saw plenty of S3's, TT, R32's beating fwd golfs/leons/ibiza's/A3 as they launch so much better, given a longer distance than 1/4 mile they'd probably be over taken. I dont really care that your A3 is faster, and im not doubting it either, but for day to day driving I'll stick with my S3. As to the opening question - a Stage 1 S3 might match a standard S4 but I'd imagine at speed the extra capacity and 2 extra cylinders will make a big differance.

I don't understand why you keep bringing that up? It doesn't offend me.
It's obvious that siting in such a quality car gave you the security and comfort to make you feel like it wasn't very quick. Where your car would always feel quick, much like sitting on a skate board going down a hill, your not really going fast, but it ****** well feels like it.

Must admit that statement makes a good point, drive a mini, there quick of the mark, and they feel quick as you sit so low and they have ****** all body roll but in truth there not very fast. (awaits prawn to rubbish my comment)
So is this the excuse were going to feed to the A3 boys from now on... Our S3's feel slower, because they are better...
