had mine for around 3 weeks never thought of doing it but might as well nowOoh my VIN was on the paperwork, does that mean I can add it to the Audi app now? I want to live vicariously through reading the manual

Nah the dealerships know when they've arrived in UK and left the port of entry and stuff. A bit like scanning a parcel, there are lots of different stages.same, although I know of someone who had there's delivered to local dealer a few days ago, was told in transit around the same time as us ? maybe ours are here & they just awaiting a PDI done to them
And that is probably why your car is here first; I picked a large dealer group and they have so many orders that my car is way down the line.when I placed an order I went to the smallest dealer I could fine, was also his first vorsprung order and mines in transit maybe its the dealers ?
Hey my 6 digit are : 315931Added , Thanks for letting me know. 1 more digit please after 3156 would be good. I think the missing digit after 56 "may" indicate on which day of the week, the order was accepted. (guessing).
We got no luck thats allIt was rude but that was to make a point.
And it hasn’t changed anything - I am sitting at week 39.
The only thing stopping me going on LinkedIn and personally tagging him is that I need a good relationship with Audi PR to grow my channel.
And yes it is a standard Vorsprung saloon in TB. No options at all.
Ive not heard anything and the ship unloaded and was back at sea about 12 hours later.Nah the dealerships know when they've arrived in UK and left the port of entry and stuff. A bit like scanning a parcel, there are lots of different stages.
That being said - there was a ship a few days ago that Mike posted about that ours could have been on. I've not had an update since Monday morning so it's plausible.
Updated Thanks,Hey my 6 digit are : 315931
Tango red carbon saloon cancelled order will be coming available at Shrewsbury audi if your interested.I had an email on Monday from my dealer as they had a cancelled order that they could switch me to. Trouble being I ordered a saloon and it was a hatch and in the wrong (for me) colour. Delivery expected in September.
When.did you order ?.september its a long waitI had an email on Monday from my dealer as they had a cancelled order that they could switch me to. Trouble being I ordered a saloon and it was a hatch and in the wrong (for me) colour. Delivery expected in September.
Not to optimistic for me.i did order end of december and was hoping for july max but looks like.wont happenI ordered in November and the cancelled order had a guaranteed delivery for September. I don’t have a clue when mine will be here as I still haven’t got an order number or build week. I’m hoping June/July
Thats unfortunate, I am beginning to see a pattern from the 92 members data, on which cars are being built and so on. When we had theI was one of the first to order, Dealer told me this would ensure I Had my place in the queue with an early order number, I was advised to go carbon as this would insure me an earlier car to, It’s not been the case and it’s annoyed me to the point where I cancelled yesterday.

From the spreadsheet data, you are on top of the list for Vorsprung, Saloon Kemora Grey criteria. My alternative was a Porsche Macan S but didn’t want to wait 18 months for delivery. I’m not in a rush at the moment as I’m keeping my current car.
Similarly, Carbon Saloon Tango Red is top on our list.Tango red carbon saloon cancelled order will be coming available at Shrewsbury audi if your interested.

So going by your little analysis of the information in the spreadsheet it's not that strange that I don't have a locked in build date for my Daytona Vorsprung Sportback. Essentially the worst combination of options for a good delivery time. Hahaha.Thats unfortunate, I am beginning to see a pattern from the 92 members data, on which cars are being built and so on. When we had the
1st batch of Carbons and Standard cars only that were Kaylami Green, Turbo Blue, Kemora Grey, Daytona Grey and Mythos Black were produced back last year. No Tango Red, (x4 Carbons )
Next Batch: Beginning of Feb, Mainly Vorsprung Saloons: Turbo Blue, Kemora Grey, Tango Red, Glacier White, MythosBlack, Kaylami Green only. No Daytona Grey . Also, Sportsback versions of above colours have been stepped over, even though their orders were earlier than some of the orders for saloon's later on matching the colours built above.
Mostly, the build seems to follow the date of order and when later orders are built, body type and colour matches the earlier order cars.
If the car is a Standard, it seems to be built regardless if the colour is in that batch.
So, the cars are being built in batches dependent on colour and then body type, as stated by Audi-UK, so the randomness of why the cars not being built as ordered, supports the Audi-UK current statement.
Also, Saloon body types are getting preference in build.
Daytona Grey and Sportsback are getting the least on build hits.
So the cars are being built by batches of types and colours and any that match that criteria are being built in date of order priority.
So whoever ordered in August and at the point of cancelling, hang-on a bit longer.
I would think that depends on when its likely to arrive, If it's late in the year it's probably available as a new car/list price, If it's within the foreseeable future they'll say nothing, register it and then sell it 'used' at £70k plus.Tango red carbon saloon cancelled order will be coming available at Shrewsbury audi if your interested.

How on earth is that classed as used? It’s still got the delivery wrap on it. Nice colour though But don’t think it’s worth £17k over a standard colour!!One of the first Audi exclusivesView attachment 249939
Lol, literally just posted in the picture thread saying they didn't seem to be doing Exclusive orders for the UK... Good to see they're making them! One of the first Audi exclusivesView attachment 249939
So there's Exclusive paint versions coming through before customer cars in standard paint options ordered as soon as the books opened? More than a little annoying! One of the first Audi exclusivesView attachment 249939
Nah that colour is "delivery wrap white", it's a highlight colour for the bonnet. How on earth is that classed as used? It’s still got the delivery wrap on it. Nice colour though But don’t think it’s worth £17k over a standard colour!!
Me too. Was half expecting an email this morning. Onto the next one I guess.... Yup you're right about the ports.Ive not heard anything and the ship unloaded and was back at sea about 12 hours later.
Another ship, Danabu Highway left Emden for Sheerness ariving tomorrow 11:00 AM, apparently they land cars at Tyne/Grimsby/Sheerness

Don't even think about complaining to Audi on that one, they'll tell you there's a chip shortageSo there's Exclusive paint versions coming through before customer cars in standard paint options ordered as soon as the books opened? More than a little annoying!

Carbon - TangoRed Sportsback. Wonder if this is the start of the next batch, as TangoRed has been stepped over on our list.Mines finally gone to status 20 due to go to build in 11 days.
Never have liked Nerdo Grey but somehow it looks OK on the 8Y ....Worth the extra £'s and the longer wait than KemoraOne of the first Audi exclusivesView attachment 249939

Not at all helped by 40+ cars from indy dealers not selling at all. Makes me wonder, if these are cars cancelled by the by likes of us, then being sold.Who knows mate? one things for sure its a Angry BLACK coloured Cloud hanging over this forum ...total Farce by Audi
Probably a little bit of everything, cancelled customer orders, genuine customer orders tempted by the quick £, sign, made up Audi centre orders, Indy dealer orders (RS cars ordered 6 from Crewe Audi) and a few speculatorsNot at all helped by 40+ cars from indy dealers not selling at all. It could also be buyers outwith this forum who have sold them on as soon as they're driven out of the handover bay....cost of living.Fuel hitting silly prices etc etc I'll be be honest if someone offered me £70k for my car I'd take itNot at all helped by 40+ cars from indy dealers not selling at all.
