Totally a newb 2001 2.4 V6 exhaust and many other questions

Hi all. I'm more a VW and the biggest lump I've had in those is the 2.3 v5 150 in a Bora. Had a classic 2.2 Audi Coupe s E reg and some pile of rubbish 80 off a mate years ago.
My question relates to the exhaust, satnav and display ( for now ;-) )
Before the cat, is there a flexi joint as it sounds like it's blowing from there badly. Anyone got a diagram of the system to check out?
The satnav doesn't pick up where you are. The antenna on the rear of the roof ( estate ) has a naff little aerial fitted. This does pick up fm. Been told the stereo also has TV, but guess that's a different aeriel plus adapter needed?
Also the display for I'm guessing fuel consumption etc is stuffed. Lights up, with lines across it. Can that be repaired or need a new set dials?

GPS aerial is under the dash on a standard fit system, above the glovebox. What headunit is it?Mine had the satnav and tv option, but was so old it could only pick up analogue, which is now long dead.

If you take out your dials there are companies around that will fix the pixels so it can definitely be repaired, you just have to find someone that can do it, i think its no more than £150 to repair.

I can pretty much buy any cheap Chinese headunit with satnav or screen share off my phone, but what else is needed. Has the Bose system.

I think you'll find it more of a mare because it's got bose..

I'm sure there's an adapter to go between the normal speaker wires and the amp. Just not sure which one on ebay

This what you'll need. I used it in mine when i upgraded my stereo, and i have Bose as well. Just make sure your new headunits has the RCA outputs for front and rear.
