Here are some pics of my S3 with often threatened change of alloys.....Finally took the plunge with a fitted cost of about 1,50 quid. I really like them and they are way easier to clean than my originals.
Looks good! They look very similar to the 19 inch exclusive forged s3 wheels that come used to come on the non black optics Magride equipped s3's.
The wheels that I am talking about are these:
They only weigh 21 lbs.
And there are a bunch of these floating around the market as most s3 owners 'upgrade' to something 'cooler'
I happen to agree with you. The only other option I would consider is a 19 inch AVUS wheel (b5 or b6 style). Wish someone made a replica version.Cooler? I think the original S3 alloys are some of the best Audi have designed.

How about an adequately sized paint brush to wash the intricate areas? I find it very handyno chemicals for me, designated wash/wheel mitt and soapy water....the OEM are a pita due to the fact that the interior rim channel is open all the way around and therefore I had to use a small sponge on edge to clean in between/behind the 5 twin spokes and that takes patience and time, especially beside the calipers. No issue with RS6 and personally I prefer the grey/diamond finish to black
Perhaps a soft brush will do. Anyway, I have no other choice than to try and find out how to clean them as I already bought themWheel brushes are too abrasive for me, paint brushes are OK. Take a a gander at the 19' OEM S3 wheel in question, neither will work at the area I describe.
A wheel Mitt is what you need mate, l never use a wheel brush on delicate alloys or even the normal type of alloys ...there all a bit aggressiveWheel brushes are too abrasive for me, paint brushes are OK. Take a a gander at the 19' OEM S3 wheel in question, neither will work at the area I describe.
Good idea! Can you recommend which one to buy?A wheel Mitt is what you need mate, l never use a wheel brush on delicate alloys or even the normal type of alloys ...there all a bit aggressive
Microfiber Madness incredimitt mate they make 2 types small and largeGood idea! Can you recommend which one to buy?
Did you mean this place behind the spokes? I didn't know there was such a place, to be honest. I saw it first after receiving the rim today.....the OEM are a pita due to the fact that the interior rim channel is open all the way around and therefore I had to use a small sponge on edge to clean in between/behind the 5 twin spokes and that takes patience and time, especially beside the calipers.

That is the area, a real pita to clean.
Thanks Bristle Hound...an RS6 is beyond my financial means....a cousin of mine has a 2018 RS6 Avant quite the machine and goes like stink.
