This is my first car ordered from factory, I’m not sure how long they take. So far I have a build week of 16, how long do they generally take to arrive at the dealer?
Ah yes I read that. Fingers crossed they don’t slip to the rightMy build week is 15 and it’s expected at the dealers first or second week in May so looking good for around then I would expect.
Do you have an update on you car? Mine was week 16 (15th April) and according to customer services on Twitter it was Emden waiting for a ship on the 17thMy build week is 15 and it’s expected at the dealers first or second week in May so looking good for around then I would expect.
Hi Dave, what colour/spec have you gone for?I ordered a new A6 today, looking at 4-5months according to the dealer!
I suppose at least it will be a 69 (snigger) reg
In theory yes, but no one has worked out how.......yet https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/road-speed-limit.382740/I’ve gone for 40TDI S-Line in glacier white with tech pack, sound and comfort pack, flat bottom steering wheel, privacy glass and folding mirrors.
Would have loved a 50tdi but I commute 45 miles each way every day so economy rules over power (plus I couldn’t afford a 50tdi!)
As it has the multifunction camera as park of the sound and comfort pack, I’m wondering if other functions of that can be enabled (such as traffic sign recognition) via VCDS

Had a call from the dealership, car has landed in the uk, 7-10 days to get to the dealers then pick up soon after. All going very smoothly which is a novelty for me buying a new car.
Exciting news!
When did you confirm the order? Is it all on schedule?
What spec did you order?
Sounds great, it'll be interesting to hear your opinion on the 2.0 TFSi engine. It was a car that was already in the pipeline that I was happy with so I didn’t order it until the middle of March. No fancy spec 45tfsi avant Quattro tech pack in Daytona Grey. Nothing else on the options list that I really wanted.
Looking forward to getting it, currently refurbing a bathroom and it’s been a ****** fitting stuff for it in the M2!

Sounds a great spec, cant wait to see itWell I ended up changing my order a little bit as found out I could get the a better spec A6 for the same price at the same dealer if I did it through Carwow, which caused a bit of back and forth with the dealer but ended up a few more bits and pieces so my order now is as follows:
A6 Avant 40tdi Black Edition S-Tronic in Glacier White
Tech pack, comfort and sound pack, touring pack, HD matrix LEDS, Adaptive Wipers, Heads up display, full leather and dimming mirrors.
I would put money they don't have one like that just knocking around or in production without an owner assigned so I imagine I'll have the longest possible wait for this to turn up. Going to be a long summer!
I’m on pins waiting for mine, it’s my first new order, it’s in the UK but not at dealer yet. Get some pics up when it arrives.Just had a call, car is in so will be picking it up next Thursday. Exciting!
It'll be interesting to see if they make any of the current optional extras standard equipment in the MY20 model.I rang Audi UK about this earlier as the person at the dealer hadn't got back to me since Tuesday stating they were waiting for a call back from Audi and wasn't there today. Funny how they were waiting for a call from Audi on Tuesday yet I ring them at 4:45 on a Fri afternoon and they have an answer for me by 5pm.
Anyway, if anyone is in the market for an A6 at the mo, the official line is that Audi have closed orders for the MY19 A6 and will open for the MY20 A6 from June apparently with the first build dates starting from July.
I'll be keeping an eye on the Audi website closely for any spec/package changes prior to my order being accepted at the factory!
Presume that they will need to get the MY20 spec cars retested for WLTP, hence not accepting orders until it is doneI rang Audi UK about this earlier as the person at the dealer hadn't got back to me since Tuesday stating they were waiting for a call back from Audi and wasn't there today. It is usual practice for Audi to close down orders prior to the next MY model. WLTP testing depends upon if they change anything, different engines or new options. After all it isn't a new model so the original certificate of conformity should apply..Presume that they will need to get the MY20 spec cars retested for WLTP, hence not accepting orders until it is done
