I'm considering trying this out as I'm looking for something with more sheeting properties as opposed to beading.

Any thoughts please or is it simply a longer lasting Sonax BSD ?

@Taxboy - You've answered your own question really lol
Sonax PNS simply put is a longer lasting BSD, almost
You are unlikely to get sheeting just beading with it
It terms of VFM PNS make the 'fan boys' choice of products look silly expensive IMHO

Plenty of reading on DW about it -

Thanks for providing a comprehensive reply. More reading to do !!!

I was hoping to try and get more of a sheeting rather than beading to avoid the dust issue as hopefully summer arrives.

Any suggestions please for reasonably priced products to use, or in reality is there not much difference between beading and sheeting effects

@Taxboy - No probs :thumbs up:
You are more likely to get sheeting from a carnuba based wax as opposed to a sealant/ceramic coating IMO
I prefer beading but others like sheeting. A bit of a personal choice

@Taxboy - I'm a bit of a fan of Sonax Xtreme Protect + Shine Hybrid, having used it a few times
Not as fussy to apply as PNS IMHO
A very underrated product as a lot of people tend to deffer to more popular brands of similar coatings

Altho' EuroCarParts have no stock for 5-7 days its £7.36 delivered using BANK70 code

I might even stock up myself at this price lol

Plenty on DW about P&S Hybrid too

I've found in the last 10 years of 'serious' Car Detailing you don't have to spend a fortune to get the finish your after. Just because its an expensive product doesn't mean its any better than a cheaper one

@ Bristle Hound thanks for that. I'll place an order. At that price it looks well worth a go.

I totally agree that good doesn't always have to mean expensive for detailing products. In many ways detailing products are similar to the general world of retail; lots of people like branded clothes and if it makes you feel good I wouldn't dictate how to spend your I'll gotten gains. However expensive waxes etc are not for me.

I think I may have strayed OT with my last paragraph so to avoid accusations of trolling, I'll stop now !!!

I’m liking the look of the Sonax protect and shine how do you apply it ?

That’s easy enough!
Once I’m back in work ( 2 job offers on the table)

I’ll look at stocking back up on a few things

Also need some shampoo
