I am a fan of the CG Wooly Mammoths. Tend to use two when drying - one per half of car....I do have a Q5

I use the Kent Extra Large Microfibre Drying Towel, cost around £5 on ebay!

fair play if it works for you, and I know expensive isn't always best, but given drying towels can inflict a lot of damage when drying, I use more than one, and go for plush. But what do i know, none of mine are in this list....Chemical Guys Wooly Mammoth
I also always use it damp from the off, find it just drags the water off that way! The trouble I find with larger drying towels is with wringing all the water out of them. Autoglym have introduced a new type of Chamois....in conjunction with Vileda.....looks good and no linting....600 mm x 600 mm, so a bit larger than the old one chamois.Soft MF drying towels are really really bad for linting and its very noticeable on yer cars glass....and on darker paint colours,the twist loop pile drying towels dont shed lint but they aint the softest towel about but are the best compromise...when it comes down to it
Ok, sorry for a long time absence with no posting. Gave the car a good wash today and got to use all my new products, talk about life made easy compared to the old stuff I used to use.
So my update on the Gyeon Silk dryer..
I can honestly say I’m never going back to anything else, how people ever manage with a chamois when there’s items like this on the market I’ll never know. Complete hassle free drying from the outset, no scratchiness in the cloth, amazing water absorption. Took me 15mins to do the whole car, I know there’s cheaper alternatives but I’m glad I bought it, super chuffed
