Hello, I am looking for some advice please.

Having become the proud owner of an Audi A3 8P Black Edition (59 plate), I would really like to add Bluetooth and SD card support to the car.

I am toying with the idea of either a Bluetooth dongle that mimics a CD changer, or a more expensive unit such as an Android Xtrons unit.

My concern with an Xtrons unit, is if it will work with my factory Bose set up with no issues, and no need for additional cabling. Having done some research, I can see that older units had problems with popping noises and random issues - when paired with Bose systems.
But from what I have read, the newer Xtrons running Android 8 seem to have fixed this issue?

This is the advice I need please - will an Xtrons running Android 8 work perfectly with my factory Bose and MFSW steering wheel.

Advice, suggestions and thoughts are much appreciated - thank you.

Hi been much debating regarding androids. If you get the latest one should be no problems with your bose system. I have none bose with sub mines works great. Even added separate amp and sub which runs alongside existing setup.

Thanks for your help and advice - much appreciated. Can I ask if you have a particular model that you would recommend?

I have a pumpkin unit about 2yrs old now. If you look through my posts you will see it comes with reverse camera. 2sd slots 1for sat nav other for music.

And 2 usb 1 for music other is spare. You should be looking for latest Android 8 with faster loading times. Mines loads in about 10sec some times quicker
