I guess I don’t feel door seals need anything too special to keep them looking fresh. I just use AG vinyl and rubber care, and whilst not a premium product I think it does the job for a door seal. I can’t imagine anyone ever getting in my car and thinking (even in the back of their mind ‘wow look at those door seals’ haha). But hey, if you can afford it why not lol. I like to spend my money where you really notice the difference, ie Crystal serum ultra pro detail. £45 on door seals I think is just a waste.the seal feed, aye but the bottle will last years
Your exterior rubber seals around the doors/windscreen in time will no longer look black they will turn dark grey then get lighter and lighter. .. Doesn't take long a few months taking away the new car look, swisswax seal feed keeps them looking new and doesn't wash off did your car receive any semi permanent treatment to the external rubber trim...? Awesome mate who won the drag race lol
the v8 scannysAwesome mate who won the drag race lol
I don’t know tbh, every other square inch of my car got treated so maybe the rubber did too, I will find out. Had my previous car 2 years and never noticed any fade but I didn’t have the black pack so this may flag the problem somewhat more I don’t know. I think I’ll save my 45 beans toward some retrofitted folding mirrors, maybe lol.....Your exterior rubber seals around the doors/windscreen in time will no longer look black they will turn dark grey then get lighter and lighter. .. It does take a good bit of time to soak into the rubber though mateJust used Swissvax for the 1st time on the extensive black trim on JCW. Certainly nice and black now, and so easy to apply.

So the wife finally traded the A1 and got herself an A3 1.5TFSI BE Sportback, Nardo Grey with heated seats. Wife loves it so here's a few pics. BUT,,, she's not keen on the wheels so will be looking to swap/sell them if anyone is interested.

It's been a long wait but I have her at last. 1.5 COD Black Edition Ibis White.
This is my first post, but I've been a voyeur for a while now and the forum has been extremely useful so thanks all!
Looking to do a proper detail on her, but she arrived with a half inch scratch in transit which needs repairing first.
