What Detailing / Car Care Products Have You Bought / Ordered Today?

@BarryG79 @jassyo06 gonny give me a step for a hint Re the Fireball stuff. The instructions on the 4 litre container is so microscopic I can't read it. Do I spray it neat or do you dilute it? Does the wee bottle read any clearer?

On neat I think, never read the bottle though. Just took it out for a photo then put it out on the garage.

I’ll be doing as per video, guess you do a panel at a time maybe??

Yeah, I think @jassyo06 said leave a couple of mins to take effect so might try one side of car, bonnet, roof, boot, other side..... rinsing each after a couple of mins.

Spray it on the roof and one full side of the car including windows etc, spray on the highest parts of the car and let the product run down the bodywork to the bottom this saves over spraying as this kit is expensive as you know then rinse from the top downwards, l let it run down the panels for around 2 to 3,at the start of rinsing with the power washer..... You'll see the product fizz a little this is it being activated...... Clever kit this is

The instructions are microscopic on the wee bottle as well mate, l would use about 100 ml of the stuff in your fancy sprayer lol

Spray on the top parts of the car and let it run down Simples, it will take a few minutes to do this and by that time, it's ready to rinse off

@audibairn it also says not to use below 5 degrees, so we might be waiting a while to use it! Just need to wait on a dry day now too.

@jassyo06 so does that mean it needs to be diluted first??

No dilution required mate @audibairn has the 4 litre bottle 70/100ml will cover the car with ease that includes the wheels

Cheers guys for the help. The Citrus pre wash arrived this morning too, a day earlier than planned so I'm itching to get out and unleash the whole lot on at least one of the cars. But the sleet / snow ain't letting up despite the fact it's meant to clear up about now. It's only about 2 degrees here but I'm tempted to try anyway..... must be mad, it'll be dark soon!

Would this work if you put 100ml through the snow foam lance or would that use to much stuff ?

carpro hydro2 foam, not to get mixed up with just hyrdo2, has that effect, wash the car as normal, then hyrdo2 foam it, not sure if you just foam and rinse or foam and wash with a mitt again.

They do a hydrophobic active snow foam that works exactly like that, used it once last week it leaves a very gloss finish and beads very well indeed

Tell me about it, desperate to try out the new stuff too. Told the misses that I need 2 days to myself, 1 for the cars and 1 to clean out the garage. That went down like a lead ballon!

Yeah came back through Muckhart earlier and there had been a light coating of snow on the roads but it was turning to slush. Brightened up as I came towards home and it did cross my mind to go out and get 1 car done, but in the door 5mins and the heavens opened including hail!

Right, jobs a good un!

Rain started just as I was applying citrus pre wash, got soaked too! Wrapped the extension socket in a polly bag, put on a jacket and got on with the job at hand.
Rinsed, snow foamed (rain stopped) and rinsed again. Sprayed alloys with bilberry cleaner, then 2 bucket wash using Gtechniq G wash shampoo and rinsed. Then on to the Fireball Premium coat (@jassyo06 that’s a keeper) rinsed and dried using new drying towel just as the heavens opened again, plenty beading though!

This was after the pre wash had dwelled for 10mins and pressure washed.

Did ye no see ma pics on Tuesday mate. Did it in freezing cold just as it was getting dark lol
I appreciate the moss removal especially for me, but you realise you'll now need to wait until it's dried out, get some kiln sand in the joint and apply sealer before the weeds appear up through the now open joints? :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

20% off is not to be sniffed at..... I don't see any other detailing company giving that amount off on their products

Does anyone have any leather seat products to recommend? I want to start protecting them soon (car a couple of months old now) but also want to make sure they don't go shiny. Probably need more protected than cleaned but if any easy to use products do both then fair enough.

Get yourself some Valet pro leather soap to clean it good quality and very reasonable priced, to protect and also keep the leather looking great get yourself some Swisswax leather glaze awesome stuff expensive but worth it, and the bottle will last a year or two
