What other variants share the same clutches ? Hoping a Skoda equivalent might be cheaper

I'm not sure why you think a skoda clutch would be cheaper, if its the same part number its the same price.

Autodoc sell the clutch for about £100

Just to ask I’m reading that the gearbox Oil needs to be at 35deg when being added

Is there a diy way to achieve this ?
Is it imperative that’s it’s exact ?

Don’t want to screw it up hence the questions

gear oil temperature is usually for automatic transmissions?

If its an Auto, you read the box temperature using VCDS
