I've just started investigating prices as I'm looking to place my order in January. So far Carwow are showing discounts between 0-3.1% and DriveTheDeal are showing about 5%. Both of which are fairly disappointing . I'll start looking around a few dealers in a couple of months when I'm serious about getting it.
I wouldn't say disappointing, more expected!
It's a brand new model release, one that only hit the roads yesterday in the hands of customers and people already expect substantial discounts. You pay a price to be the first in an exclusive car.
Plus (in the UK) they won't / shouldn't discount them at all. It is usually a limited run model. My usual place was well hacked off that I got a £1k discount on my PFL and even commented that it was "not on" as Audi had told them not to discount the RS3.I wouldn't say disappointing, more expected!

I've been offered £3.4k off a new factory order with a £51k spec so deals are out there but this is 100+ miles away so you have to hunt around.
I got offered 8k off but I had to go to Germany and carry it back on my shoulders and build some of it.I've been offered £3.4k off a new factory order with a £51k spec so deals are out there but this is 100+ miles away so you have to hunt around.

My spec is just over 50K.I got a £1000 off and free GAP and paint protection with tyre insurance, only because its my 4th car thru the same dealer.
Done a 4yr PCP at 7000miles a year.
£11,000 up front and£450 per month, with a GTV of £23,000 after the 4yrs. PCP interest rate is 6%.
Expecting delivery next week!
I was kindly pointed towards this dealer by a fellow member of this very site.If these discounts are available to Joe Public then surely we are all here to help one another? The name of the dealer should be supplied, preferably the name of the salesman, his email address and proof of the actual quotation. If dealers are discounting these then there should be no secrecy, they work to sales targets, the more sales, discounted or not, the better for them. It's actually good free advertising for the dealership and that particular salesman.
I got a good discount off mine but there's no point in posting the details as it's through an Audi employees friends and family offer and not open to Joe Public.
Come on guys, post the details.
Although discounts are good, all they do is harm the residual values. I wouldn't be surprised if the 3/4yr GFV's soon plummet if people are managing 6-7% off their orders already.

As for the list of "requirements" including proof of the actual quote, I don't have to prove anything and was mearly giving people a heads up that deals can be done.

OK speaking as someone who did not expect and did not get discount I cannot see the logic of dealers offering one on RS3 when the production run is expected to be limited and delivery dates if ordering now are into next year, where is the logic of discounting something that is in short supply and in high demand?
From what my dealer has said, it looks like they may have a pot they can use for discounts. Once the pot has gone, they are discounting from their profits. My dealer referred to it as "support". Wasn't clear what he meant so I am making assumptions on this. What he said was the support has been used up, so he couldn't offer the same deal he gave me any more.
As for some dealers discounting and some not, I'm in the North East. There's not as much money floating around up here as wages are generally much lower compared to further South. Makes something as pricey as the RS3 a much harder sale.
