Search for an auto locksmith on www.locksmiths.co.uk, get car unlocked and make sure to get a second key.

Sent from a mobile device, please forgive typos :)

I always carry a spare flat blade key for my car sellotaped to an old credit card which I keep in my wallet.
Lots of places can cut them simply by having a photo of your key, that's how I got mine done.
That way at least I can get into my car should it become locked by accident.

That sound like a good idea. I just ordered another key off flea bay. It can be programmed using vcds so I'm told. I'm not bothered if it doesn't fit the lock or start the car. So long as it will open it

If you only have 1 key then I'm fairly sure to get another key to start the car it needs to be programmed to match the immobiliser and you need to get a code from Audi in Germany to enable this , which is a job for either a locksmith or a main dealer AFAIK, I don't think VCDS can do it?
As you say though, with a correct cut flat blade at least you will be able to get in the car....

Apparently the keys are all the same, and its the code that unlocks the car without it sounding the alarm.
Not tried it myself, only found out a couple days ago.

Best to drop me a text on 07748114114

I travel nationwide and have one or two bits overy that way coming up.
