There seems to be a lot of love for white S3's, a guy was picking one up same time as me @Swany, those photos don't do Daytona justice trust me

My previous A3 was Daytona Grey, and it really is a brilliant colour, agree. In sunlight it shimmers away and has a real glossy deep look about it. :)

Congrats @lou15p !!

The S3 looks pretty eye-catching in white... I feel I've had too many white cars over the last few years so fancied a change. Daytona, Glacier/Ibis and Navarra all suit the S3 pretty well I reckon.

Thinking of doing the same... However, I'm new to all this and have no idea how to find a reputable detailer and what to ask for if I did lol

Ask for a new car protection detail - the detailer should be able to offer advice on suitable products but I'd steer towards Gtechniq or Gyeon. You're probably looking at a 2 day treatment to get the best results. If you're anywhere near the midlands Cannock way I'd highly recommend Baz at Auto Detox.

Thanks mate... I'm in London so I will have to do a little research as I'm not picking my car up until oct. How about price, what should I expect to be paying?

You're welcome mate - it depends a lot on the coating as they can vary a fair bit in price. For a two day new car protection detail your looking between 250-350 I would say.

GTechniq Crystal Serum you're looking at £750 and 3-4 days.

I'm waiting to see a white one! Easy to look after...saying that! any colour would be easy to look after, after having black :)

Which white are you getting ChivsBang? My next car is either a white S3, or a white or silver A5 coupé (if it looks as good in the flesh).

Congrats mate, looks stunning!

Daytona really is the gift that keeps on giving............to simply call it grey is completely missing the point, there's so many different shades and effects it takes on under different lighting conditions plus it's really easy to maintain. Enjoy :)

Are they highly recomended then? I could very easily have mine done there :)
I found them because someone on this forum had a wet sanding training there plus if the detailing takes a few days they have the premises to keep your car and an env for pro detailing. Can be up to 6 weeks to book your car.

Will post a lot more tomorrow or Monday reviewing the full car and what I think of the features. Again, any requests just let me know. The VC is awesome and anyone that's specced it will love it! Teaser...

Very happy with it so far. Solid inside and well built compared against my old MK6 Polo. Quiet on the road too.

There's something wrong with it.
365miles remaining? Never seen anything near that high on mine. I'd take it back... ;-)

Then your dealer will add his own special swirl marks after cleaning your car with a well used sponge :hopelessness:
CORRECT.....what a letdown after such a build up

Sorry for the lack of pics.....been out driving :whistle2:
The car is an absolute joy to drive, love the s-tronic box, and virtual cockpit, vc will be a must have tool if you do a lot of mileage, and so glad I spec'd it. Navarra blue is very dark, but gleams in the sun, I love it (no swirls detected on dealer pick-up), but will be hard work to keep looking mint through winter, and not one rattle or squeak detected in the cabin.
See you all out on the road.

Nice one - glad it's all going well :)
Good to see more pics coming out of NB - always a risk when you order without seeing in the flesh, but every photo I've seen so far is living up to my own hopes and expectations. I've lived with the BMW Estoril Blue for 2 years so am looking forward to a darker and more 'sophisticated' colour. Got VC too so good to read you're enjoying it.

Are they RS3 wheels? 19"? Do you have Mag ride

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes they are Rs3 19" wheels, so i got magride to go with them. To be honest coming from a bmw 120 with lowered m suspension and dreaded runflat tyres i can't believe how well the Audi handles with them.
