CRTD2® Diesel Tuning Box Chip for Audi A7 3.0 TDI Quattro 268 Bhp / 272 PS / 200 KW

Hi guys

I recently purchased an Audi A7 3.0 TDI Quattro 272 PS Black Edition with Tech Pack. I am in love with it!

But wouldn't mind a bit more oomph for this 2 ton car, my partner has an Audi TTS which has similar power, but obviously a lot lighter so flys like a rocket.

That being said I have always been keen to add some tuning to my cars and TDI-Tuning's CRTD2® Diesel Tuning Box Chip has caught my eye.

Wondering if anyone has any experience with them or can suggest an alternatives?

The Tuning box does the following apparently:
Power increase from 272 PS to 335 PS
Torque 580 Nm 428 lb-ft to 667 Nm 492 lb-ft
Improved Fuel Efficiency adding 4 - 6 Mpg, 1 L/100 km
Increased Top Speed of 10 Mph / 16 Km/h

ibb, before you take the plunge make sure you ask them for some dyno feedback from the new 272ps.

We've been involved in the development of a tuning system for the new 3.0 218/272ps and from what we have learnt the fuel pressure in these new engines is running a lot higher than the older 240/245ps. Factor in that this latest engine is now using a digital boost sensor compared to the usual analogue, then again please ask the question if this system is suitable with SENT sensors.. A 218ps that we had on the dyno produced 236hp stock, and 256hp tuned.. The tuning potential on this engine is very limited indeed, and these figures were produced by increasing fuel and boost..

We do offer a system for this engine, but there is no way that 335ps is achievable from this engine

Thank you for your reply Abyss, your reply is exactly the kind of reply I was looking for, I don't want to do anything before I see experienced people respond. I myself have never modded my vehicle apart from changing wheels.

I'm new to ASN and have an A6 on order with this engine.
Did you take your engine tuning any further? Did you try the box, end up remapping?
I'd be very interested to hear what you did in the end.
