Glovebox rattle, 2009 A6 Avant C6 2.0 TDI

Hello everyone.
Recently developed a rattle in the glovebox of my car, it sounds like a plastic on plastic type of sound..I have noticed that the noise disappears when the glovebox is open. I thought that it may have been the latch mechanism, has anyone else encountered this, if so how did you solve it?
