i read up on those Bridgestones & they do get a good review ... so I’ll be happy with those or Pirelli’s now.
i think you’re close to ordering though aren’t you mate ... seeing one & driving one I think has swayed you in a positive way
Nearly there, the 8V is going in for photographs early next week in readiness for the specialist to sell it.
Was a mistake to advertise it on ASN, too many jokers wanting it for peanuts.
Specialist also said i undervalued it too.

I agree, they're pretty stunning to be honest (and symmetrical for my OCD). The platinum grey really adds to them, just wish they'd start doing high silver finish and ditch diamond cut from a longevity point of view.I actually prefer these wheels now.

The black wheels are very nice wheels too, but one thing that bugs me with black wheels is the need to keep up with the tyre dressings as they always look more grey against the black of the wheel (again, my OCD).
I never thought they would have Michelins, I just presumed that it would be Pirelli of some type.

To Be fair every single alloy wheel option on all A3's are dire
i really like them a hell of a lot - but appreciate not to everyone’s taste.
The standard alloys do look good & suit the car too though.
Just a cleaning nightmare.
Think the Matt black alloys look awesome here ....

Ive said a couple of times I'd love to know how the orders work from the sales person to Audi de getting it, I kow my dealer said my car would be ordered (from the dealership) the following Monday (and I ordered it the Thursday) but where to? and how do they decide when it will be built? it's certainly not in true time of order as I ordered it a week after someone who has just had week 24Is it by colour?
Did his dealer sit on it for a week and put the order through after mine?
Do 'dealership franchises' order for the dealers?
Do Audi UK have their finger in the pie as well?
Just be interesting to know what happens

mate I ordered mine 2 weeks later when they started to accept orders, and no news as of yet tempted to change my colour though, Daytona/Kermora grey look neat esp with the black accents, I am assuming they will all be built in the same location, probably has nothing to do with the colour they all get something out of itYes, Vorsprung

That's an interesting point. Other than randomly spec'd cars and a few launch editions, there's been no official carbon editions spotted yet.

I cant really see the point of your reply to be honest? a few have asked if anyone has had a Vorsprung build date, i've just answered the question, I thought it was positive, but you jump all over it and turn it into something negative ***
VW were doing something similar with Golf R, My local dealer phoned to say 4 un ordered cars had 'turned up' out of the blue, almost (Like RS3) as if they just built them out of what was available at that time rather than build nothing, specs were a bit odd as well tbh.
PS: They all sold within 48 hours, whether to existing orders and list price I dont know

Not negative at all l just think giving out build dates over 5 months away is a bit premature it could be brought forward ....f$$k it couldn't be pushed back anymore that's for sure ...

Yes, I had two demo drives of Golf 8R, that last 15-20% of its performance and ability to go where you point it when you bury the throttle instead of hanging on and hoping you dont run out of road with understeer is so rewarding. 8R when approaching it's limit will just about 4 wheel drift. If my RS3 demo doesnt equal that (which it sounds like it will tbh) ill be off with my deposit to Drive The Deal for high specced 8R
it sounds like performance mode in this RS is the way to drive it, looking forward to it.
This is getting out of hand its a A3 at the end of the day this car with finance at 6.5 APR comes to £79.034 and that's with a 20k deposit CRAZYAnother car at least £10k over list

The 8R with a decent Map will pretty much beat anything on a B road with a massive saving over the Rs3 the 8R seems good value with the discounts of 14% that can be had .

the Golf 8R is still tempting with options/discount and value.
For me, I’m hanging out for,you know what, on RS3 and also from my point of view (purely speculation) in case they do anything with 8R. (20th Anniversary of R) (R32) and 2024 50th Anniversary of Golf.

my RS3 demo drive had better come with added sparkles or it's another Golf Winds me up this kind of attitude from Audi not vetting customers, mind you Porsche are no better either, there's genuine buyers out there waiting and in comes some smarmy **** rip of merchant
