ASN's Pub

Nilz, That's cause there's nothing there. :)

They guy I need to ask is off till thursday, I'll sort something out.

An assessment day sort of thing.
I'm not 100% sure really.
From what I can tell it consists of meeting the Boss/MD fellow engineers (5 people in total), travel to a couple of client sites and see how I get on.

Westy, don't worry about what you look like, you'll be in a suit....................wait, is it one of them hedonism weddings?

What happened?
Last time weight was mentioned you was struggling to get over 10 stone.

Hahaha I don't think that was me! I haven't been 10 stone since I was about 12 years old lol. Last year at inters I was about 12 stone. My weight fluctuates between 12 and 14 stone but I've never been able to break past the 14 stone mark.

I had to change my wedding suit waistcoat to the next size up as it was too much of a squeeze!

I swear I heard a news story a little while ago talking about putting fake engine noises in electric cars for this very reason!

Think just how much road kill will be about when we're all running electric cars! Deers, foxes, badgers, pheasants, and pigeons are all pretty stupid now, let alone if we all had silent cars!

Guys, i've never even reached 10 stone!!!!

Westy, you've mentioned all the animals, what about the people, im sure there could easily be a few added there too!!

There needs to be some sort of noise added to these cars or its going to cause a lot of accidents.

Even some places where I cycle people don't pay any attention.
If they can't hear you, its safe to cross.

Nilz, no way.
You must have hit 10 stone at least once?
Who are you, tyrion lannister?

LOL....no im not a dwarf, although many would question it!!!

No for some reason, I have had the same static weight for about 5+ years, only time i lose weight is if im ill and can drop to 9 or even 8.5 within a matter of days, but the strange thing is I can then put it back on just as quick and then stay at 9.5 all the while.

Morning everyone, happy Friday to you all!!

I guess most people are not in a good mood due to the cr4p footy result last night by England.

Quite a disappointing result I must say and not a good place to be when it comes to relying on others to be able to progress.

Weather is cloudy but warm in Brum, so hoping to enjoy some heat later in the evening if we can.

Anyone got plans for the weekend??

LOL!!!

To be honest, i dont really follow football, expect for the World Cup or Euros (its easier to follow).

I don't have a TV license so I can't follow and I wont follow it.
Sorted. :)

I think I just lowered my car by 25mm.
I'm not sure, it was a pain but the coding stuck in the end.

Haha, fair do's :)

LOL...are you Lowriding now then??

Aaah man!!!

I was going to say you could just cram a whole of people into the car and make it low that way, but if they are all like me then you will need ALOT of us!!

I've had quite a chilled Sat,
Got up early and washed the car, get rid off the weeks crud. Black looks great when its clean, but a ***** to maintain.
Weathers been good as well for a change.

The local parade is on today celebrating "Guid Nychburris" which is Good Neighbours for people who can spell.
Its such an ironic name for the weekend coz it consists off a parade followed by marathon drinking sessions and numerous fights.
Its like trying to get served in some warzone, etiquite goes right out the window, usually followd by a chair.
The weird thing is I used to enjoy it when I was younger, now the thought of queueing for a beer just doesnt appeal.
Maybe I'm just getting old.

Haven't really been watching the footy this year, I must admit, seen the Germany Portugal game, that was a cracker.
Just spending the night playing UFC on the xbox one, getting my *** handed to me by men with funny shaped ears.
Hope alls well in Pubville.

Morning pubbers. Wasn't really impressed with the matches yesterday... Actually decided to switch the Xbox on after 8 months to play forza 4, forgot how good it was. What's peoples plans today? I need ideas

Sunday is the day of rest mate so I intend to do nothing. Lay in the sun in the garden with the radio on.

Morning all,

How you all doing??

I had a great weekend, Saturday was mainly getting tanned, eating lots of BBQ food and drinking and yesterday was recovering :)

Ready as I will ever be for Inters, need to get my wheels furbed, but dont think I will be able to fit it in for Inters, so aiming to get them done for AITP instead.

Morning!

Got the engine swap done on Friday and just spent the weekend running it in. I am so not prepared for inters, car needs wash, buy food, buy drink etc...

Getting the current wheels refurbed nilz? Or you got another set??

What you got nilz?

I'm ready but the car is not.
My front bumper needs doing, I need a centre cap, it needs a clean, AC fixing, needs 4 wheel alignment and balancing.
It will be there bouncing between COV and ASN but no where near stand ready. :(

Nice on the engine Jay.
How is it coping with traction? :ninja:

Im just getting my original set refurbed, I had them done a few years ago, but they have since badly corroded, so need to get them done again, i doubt they will be done before Inters though......unless Scott, we do a Plastidip mission at Inters??

Car will need to be washed as close to Inters as possible, the huge tree outside our house is spouting sap like there is no tomorrow!!

I washed the car last night and its sticky again already.....it got to a point last week, where I couldnt even put the windows down as they were stuck!!!

I have thought about it, but its a pain as need to get both cars covered, i may just use some old bedsheets on the cars!!!

Morning all, its very quiet in here recently, you all ok???

All well nilz. Work is crap... Waiting for inters to come around now! Wooooo

Morning all. it is indeed very quiet in here, hope you all ok.:) x

Morning Jay, Morning Sandra :)

Its all good over here, had my 6 month review last week and got a promotion, got the paperwork come through yesterday so its all official now, so I am very happy with work :)

Hoping to get my wheels in this week as well to get them refurbed and I have just been reading about the Clay Cloth, so may get one of them too, so I can sort all the sap out off my car, hoping to have the car and wheels nice and shiny for Inters and AITP.

Thanks mate,

Yea the one in the detailing section, it looks really good and the feedback from people that have used it is very impressive.

I have a Halfords just by my work, so may pop in over the next few days and pick one up and give it a go, ive never clayed the car yet, so would be good to give it a go with something that doesnt take forever.

Make sure it is well lubricated. Had some one detail the bonnet few weeks back and he tried it on my car for the first time. Worked ok, little bit of marring but polishes out fine

I will do mate, ive heard thats the key when it comes to claying, so will use plenty of lube (LOL!!!).....I cant say that word without laughing!!
