She is lovely Col.

My contribution is Lolly, our 2.5 year old show cocker. She is a little one, only 9.5kg at fighting weight. And oh my, is she a diva

Always on the go, but time for a rest every now and again:

This is Sirius (Harry Potter fans will get it). Just over 5 months old and he’s the devil! Still trying to put manners in him. Very strong willed and very excitable

He’s about 12 weeks here

You don't see many GSD's about nowadays TBH. My 2nd fave breed after CS's

Heres my two pals, Ruby and Jet, our two working cockers.
Ruby has just gone 8 years old, Jet being her son and will be 3 this June.

Saturdays they are out working/beating for birds with my Dad, and Sundays we go out ticking off lists of fells and mountains, Lake District Wainwrights currently, I won't be missing a single peak without them.

These dogs are the main reason I got rid of the S3 and got the Defender, more time with them the better

Ours isn’t 6 months for another fortnight and he’s already 10.5 kilos. Vet reckons he’s likely to be over 20 kilos! Starting to loose his puppy teeth now and due for neutering in January. We’ve no interest in breeding him - the world isn’t ready for another Sirius Padfoot!

He is lovely mate

He’s a handful!
He’s chewed the corners off the skirting, makes it his life’s work to torture the cat, is the greediest dog ever to have walked the earth and his farts can clear a room.

Lovely looking dog you have there mate

Thanks, she is a wee beauty.

bonny dog you got there!

we kept the smallest of our dogs litter, one of them is still in our village and he might aswell be twice the size as the pup we kept, crazy

My sister bred her bitch, litter of 7, Tess is one of the smallest!!
Must admit I didn't want a dog, it was my wife who fell in love with her and it wasn't worth the grief to say no. We've had her 5 years now and I can't imagine her not being here - which sounds sappy AF. Defo one of the family and higher up the pecking order than my 2 boys - or so I tell them :).

Great for keeping us active - she must have done about 40 Munros by now.

Sounds just like me, I wasn't fussed about getting our dog, couldn't live without them now, and I wouldn't be into hiking and all that if it wasn't for them!

We just bought two coats for ours....tried one on the youngest and he walked round like he'd shat himself and his mum sat and barked at him so think they are a no go :tearsofjoy:

Me and the digs are on 72/214 wainwrights currently

And you wouldn’t know it with that face! . Our lolly did her share of chewing skirting, but thank goodness they seem to grow out of it. As for the cat, fair game .

We have had many different models of dogs, . But I don't think any have been as loyal, loveable, frustrating, cheeky, stubborn and downright brilliant as our cocker.....best dog ever !!!!!

LOL, first coat we bought was a bit like that, this one doesn't have elastics round her back legs and fits a lot better. She only wears it higher up on the mountains when it gets really cold, doesn't stop her jumping in the water unfortunately.

Don't think our older one would have it in the slightest, we put a fresh collar on her back when she wore them....wouldn't move with it on so we got the old one out the bin for her :tearsofjoy:

Think I'll avoid the high tops when there's a proper coveting of snow about

We were out the other day and stopped for a bite of lunch at a place in a country park, a guy came in dragging a very young working cocker spaniel and when we looked concerned he said that it was not as cruel as it looked, he had got this poor dog from a rescue centre and he believed that she had been saved from a puppy farm in a police raid. This poor animal had been kept at the rescue centre for maybe 6>10 months and so had had very little contact with humans, so she just did not respond to them at all, but looked very interested in other dogs, just no interest in human eye contact even, very sad hopefully having a good home would eventually sort her out.

Some lovely shots of your dog's there guys. Don't think we have ever had a dog as loyal and intelligent as our cocker, saffron, she is getting g on a bit now and unfortunately is loosing her sight, but she still loves a walk and a play and a cuddle in the evening.
We just got a 2 year old Springer from a rescue home.....poor dog had been kept in a flat in Brentwood and had never out on a lead......or even in a garden. We have had him for two weeks now, he is called Dudley, and he is an amazing character.....quick to learn, eager to please and full of energy.....Will post a pic shortly.
