There's nothing to see, I put the OEM 17s back on.
And that took you an hour?
That was cleaning up as well right?

Jo.... MAN UP!! lol
It's hard work without a frikin trolley jack, and the need for an extended 4ft bar to undo the nuts! All copper greased up now though!

you put the 17's back on, meaning you took either the bbs' or the porshce twists off...
OK, I'll let you off.... Maybe it's time to invest in a Trolley Jack? I couldn't live without one...
2 TON CAR HYDRAULIC LIFTING TROLLEY FLOOR JACK & CASE | eBay UK
£20 will bring you happiness...
I actually DO have a trolley jack, it's a crappy RAC one, but my prehistoric tarmac drive gets dented when I use it, which didn't go down to well with the other half, and I don't have a plank of wood to support it underneath lying about.
See you all tomorrow - BT here upgrading our main ADSL to FTTC in the morning.
Yes it was fun as he had our primary ISDN 2E circuit number to migrate and not our fax line number. Luckily he was savy and worked it out for him self when he tested the line details before doing the patch change in the cabinet. That could be fun.
Tomorrow I will attempted some stone chip repairs.
I got some P2500 sand paper, paint, lacquer, rubbing compound, T-Cut, Polish and wax.
It might end horribly wrong or just ok.

Job sheet - it was written in his little black note book. That's a bonus - I've had so many BT Engineers in the past who will ONLY do what is on the job sheet, despite protests. Nobs.
Lucky ****** - although we are on the same exchange as the office at home - they aren't upgrading the cabinet that we are connected to, so I will have to stick with my 7Mb/s Bethere connection.I look forward to the visit of a BT engineer at my home in a couple of weeks, when he comes to install my BT Infinity broadband!!!
That should speed my home connection up massively.

Nice and quite little village is nice place to be,but no good as it's going to be 2030 before BT get around to piping decent BB around here
Same issue at my yard mate, 4.1 MB is the most I have ever seen on down sync on the router. The phone line I am on is like the great wall of china.
I want to go to Badger5 and see how my downpipe is coming along. :-/
I had to get some M10 * 1.25 metric fine nuts yesterday. Man they were a bitch to find. Why do the Japs insist on using metric fine threads?
Work sucks. It gets in the way of all the other things I want to do, however (annoyingly) also pays for them. Swings and roundabouts.
Why not use mobile broadband if the land line is poo?
Thought I would share this with the Pub brigade as well as the 8Lers...

(only dislike as they are a competitor of ours!)
Go on Mikey, Who do you work for?
PM if you dont want to pub it.
Same, I would like to know. Always useful to know someone in the trade as it were....

Hmm lunch sat in the sun on the deck at the office overlooking Southampton Water and the river Hamble.
Had to come back in though as the sun was too strong, I could feel it starting to burn my arms
I love working next to the river.
Just been for a bike ride down to the river and back.
Its so nice.
I was tempted to go for a dip. lol
