you put the 17's back on, meaning you took either the bbs' or the porshce twists off...

Hmmm nice cold drink.

over torqued?

I need to buy a trolly jack, the Audi Jack is going to kill me one of theses days.
I keep meaning to swap my wheels around and clean my arches at the same time but fear of the jack keeps putting me off.

The BBS have come off Dane, I'm keeping those! Next is the Haldex Performance controller, then it's byebye S3 number2. I was suppose to sell it 6 months ago, but it actually came in handy during the big freeze, it never let me down at all, even with 156k miles!! I will miss it, but it's time to use my own car for the show season. :)

OK, I'll let you off.... Maybe it's time to invest in a Trolley Jack? I couldn't live without one...

£20 will bring you happiness...

I actually DO have a trolley jack, it's a crappy RAC one, but my prehistoric tarmac drive gets dented when I use it, which didn't go down to well with the other half, and I don't have a plank of wood to support it underneath lying about.

That could be fun. :)

Jo, Decided what to do about the F1 invite?
You know you should.

I'm bored.
I've finishes all my blog sites I visit, I've attempted to image 3 PCs and they keep failing.
Stupid company asking us to reuse old Compaq Evo PCs and they keep failing.
Why don't they buy us some new ones. We only need 20. :keule:

Last day today and then 4 days off.
Tomorrow I will attempted some stone chip repairs.
I got some P2500 sand paper, paint, lacquer, rubbing compound, T-Cut, Polish and wax.
It might end horribly wrong or just ok.

BT have been and I now have a 30Mb/s main ADSL - the forum is a bit quicker to load :w00t:

Had to be in the office at 08:00 in case we were the first appointment - which we were. But been watching Carol do the BBC Weather broadcasts from the car park next door here in Warsash.

Have a good day everyone.

Yes it was fun as he had our primary ISDN 2E circuit number to migrate and not our fax line number. Luckily he was savy and worked it out for him self when he tested the line details before doing the patch change in the cabinet.

Good luck with the stone chip repairs.

That's a bonus - I've had so many BT Engineers in the past who will ONLY do what is on the job sheet, despite protests. Nobs.

Morning all, im in a good mood today! And more surpisingly, yesterday i actually did a decent days work! Back to being lazy today and looking forward to a good 4 days off.

I'm downloading SBS 2011 and Windows 7 Pro with SP1 from MS.

A lot quicker but not running the new circuit at full rate - probably throttled at the MS end.

Paul

Job sheet - it was written in his little black note book.
Just need to get it all labelled up now.
Paul

I look forward to the visit of a BT engineer at my home in a couple of weeks, when he comes to install my BT Infinity broadband!!!

That should speed my home connection up massively.

At least BT worked out for you.
We had BT in to do some work and they shut down half the camp.
There was a couple of angry people running around flapping.

4 days off!!!! Wooop Wooop

Lucky ****** - although we are on the same exchange as the office at home - they aren't upgrading the cabinet that we are connected to, so I will have to stick with my 7Mb/s Bethere connection.

Same issue at my yard mate, 4.1 MB is the most I have ever seen on down sync on the router. The phone line I am on is like the great wall of china.

I want to go to Badger5 and see how my downpipe is coming along. :-/

I had to get some M10 * 1.25 metric fine nuts yesterday. Man they were a bitch to find. Why do the Japs insist on using metric fine threads?

Work sucks. It gets in the way of all the other things I want to do, however (annoyingly) also pays for them. Swings and roundabouts.

Why not use mobile broadband if the land line is poo?
I've got some really good speeds from mine out in the middle of cornwall.

I know what you mean, It sucks.
I'm tempted to go to a meeting with the boss, beat my self up and hold them to ransom for loads of money and the need to never work again.

I had to write a letter to my work last night asking to leave my current position and take up another, all sounds stupid to me having to write a letter to do another job in the same building! Internal politics i guess.

To be fair, it's fast enough for what I use it for. I play COD online, and the upload speed is good so it's fine for that at ~4 MB.

Other than that, I never use the web at home to be fair - thus can't be *****.

If it's not broke, don't fix it.... lol.

I know mate, and i cant argue they are cheap! Luckily we dont compete with internet stuff, just against their local branch.

(but i can say that their owner is a very nice guy who gave me my best interview ever!)

Thanks for the info welly.
I'll pass it on to others as well.

I dont have much need for it, I get 40-50% off parts at my local motor factors. :)

Go on Mikey, Who do you work for?
PM if you dont want to pub it. :)

Well i work within a local factors called Motorserv, but at the minute i am working for a sister company called Prime in London.Although still employed bt Motorserv at Milton Keynes!

Hmm lunch sat in the sun on the deck at the office overlooking Southampton Water and the river Hamble.

Had to come back in though as the sun was too strong, I could feel it starting to burn my arms :w00t:

Was chatting with my Brother via FB in Majorca and they are overcast and have rain forecast for the weekend - said he should get on a plane and come over - his retort was to enjoy our summer whilst it is here - ouch.

Ooh exciting! Milltek are out on non-res cat backs until mid May so I'm going to have to make do with the standard backbox for now.
