Wire and Inverter

Where should I connect an inverter and leisure battery to? The Terminals under the hood, the battery in the rear, or the Fuse Board? I have an A6 C6 3.2 fsi

I would use this point at the rear but stick a fuse in like the top link.

Do we think the third empty terminal is for Live, and then just add on top of existing neutral?

The second terminal will be empty, I just added that cable, but it was going to a fuse so did not bother adding an additional fuse.

Below that box is a chassis earth point on the car.
