Which A3 Should I Buy

Hi,

I am looking to buy one of the following A3 Sportback on about an 06 plate, can not decide which to buy and wondered if anyone has any suggestions.

However, leather interior is a high priority for me and so options 3, 5 or 7 are looking quite favourable.

Nevertheless, any suggestions, thoughts or experience would be appreciated.

1. 2.0 TDI (170ps) Sport 5d
2. 2.0 TDI (170ps) Quattro 5d
3. 2.0 TDI (170ps) S Line 5d
4. 2.0 TDI (170ps) Quattro Sport 5d
5. 2.0 TDI (170ps) Quattro S Line 5d
6. 2.0 TDI (170ps) Sport 5d S-Tronic
7. 2.0 TDI (170ps) S Line 5d S-Tronic

def get a quattro plenty of sports out there with leather mine has the sand interiour/bose/heated seats full votex kit and all the other silly little extras you can have but mine is a 2.0t-fsi

quattro is four wheel drive but only when the front wheels loose traction

The quattro on the 8P A3 is a Haldex system that always delivers some power to the front and rear wheels, but varies this according to demand. I've heard that this is 2.5-10% to the rear wheels in normal driving (i.e. more than none as suggested above).

I'm not sure what difference it makes to the TDi170, but for the 2.0T it's well worth having and makes the most sense if you're thinking of a remap.

What is s-tronic and how does it differ from the DSG ?

Both the same just a different name, Dsg in a golf gti , s-tronic in an Audi.

As said they are the same.
