yes all round, They look great on that size wheel all round and very similar to original rolling diameter. Ditch finders - widow makers - road skaters …. cheap nasty tires. This tyre size isn't too expensive if you find a deal - I got P-zero's for about £400 ish for a set with the Audi AO rating. Also the P-Zero has a nice rim protector which looks really good. What offset are you going for? don't go less than ET45
Do you even know how to calculate the size of a tyre? You should not run 255/35/19 even if it's not too wide (I'm not saying you can't but the circumference will just differ more than a 255/30/19 setup). This is what the Audi RS3 runs with the performance pack:
I purchased these alloys (pictured) but these tyres are cheap but not bad ... they are rated very good really can't spend ridiculous monies for the setup! I am running Roadstone eurovis sport 04 (nexen company made) and they are perfect. I have now 235 40 R18'' all round. So if I go with 255 35 19 rears and 235 35 19'' fronts I think I will be alright n? and when I look at my car from the back from the distance the tyres are so tiny thin like ordinary car :-/ with 255 will look much better 255s link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-255-35-19-BLACKLION-255-35R19-96Y-XL-AMAZING-A-RATED-WET-GRIP/153132565331?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 235s link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-X-235-35-19-91Y-XL-BLACKLION-235-35ZR19-91Y-XL-AMAZING-B-RATED-WET-GRIP/152656572185?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 19" x 8.5j ET35 5 x 112 66.45CB EDIT : Don't go lower than ET45 I have now ET 35 what is the difference?
Ok then I'll go 235s all round... what?? 235 rears and 255 fronts ??? it must defo rub tyres when turning .. :O
I think S3 and RS3 has different bumper thinner or more space for the wheels .. Aahhh this is soo complicated
It actually isn't Do you have a saloon or sportback? Because if you have a sportback a 235/35/19 with 8.5 ET45 on the front and 8.5 ET35-40 on the rear will be as close to flush with the arches as you can get. I'm running the setup in my signature with a 5mm spacer on the rear and it really looks good if you ask me and suits the car without being too aggressive.
I have A3 2015 tdi quattro 184 am checking this now : https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?wh...-19X8.5ET40&fcl=50mm&wcl=30mm&scl=50mm&sr=0mm
Take a look at my post here mate: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threa...to-your-8v-today.236518/page-207#post-3338343 It looks the same now with 5mm spacers because the Michelin PS4S tyres are wider than the Goodyear F1 Asy 3 tyres as you can see:
My 8.5 x 9 rims have an ET of 47, no spacers, and the 245/35/19 tyres are spot on .....What ET are your rims Phone -Tech? The Goodyear tyre shown above is the stretched look, which is not my cup of tea. This is negated by some tyre manufactures design and rim protection with a 235/35/19.
Hi I stated abovecit is ET35.. Is it ok? Will I be ok with 255 35 r19 or should I go 235 all round.. Same me I don't like stretched tyres.. I can see them suffering hehe..
Hmmm.....you will need spacers methinks and that may cause issues also....an ET of 35 with an 8.5" rim will move the wheel too close to the suspension, steering bits for proper clearance. The ET for an Audi OEM 19 x 8 rim is 49 and the smaller the ET number, the closer the wheel gets. Anyone with more knowledge should chime in on this one.
No no man, it’s the other way around! The lower the ET number the more the wheels will poke and get closer to the arch. I would not advise to use lower than ET45 on the front and certainly not lower than ET40 (this is with a 8.5” rim in mind). The rear can handle ET35 but that’s with a 235/35/19 setup.
Guys I've checked dis and many ppl run it like that and it is fine.. https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/469609-What-Offset-for-19-quot-wheels-on-a-A3 So I ordered 235s all roud so I will see ..
Guys I been having stress all week .. (facepalm) I ordered alloy wheels but yeah @Lehn was right I ordered 19' 8.5j ET35 and when I put them on (without tyre) to test I was like nooo oomghh .. please check pic the wheel sticked out crazy .. So the alloys went back today for refund.. So even 8.5j will give more width plus offset ET .. altogether 26mm more width .. crazy absurd.. I couldn't find the right specs for those ''twist'' style diamond cut So now I have ordered exactly same ones I have now but 19s 8j (existing ones are 7.5j 18'') Will be replacing tomorrow as I waiting for the 4th wheel...
Not that shape above only ET35 and someone had ET40 but not diamond/grey/gunmetal, but diamond /black .. ugly .. ET40 would still stick out.. I need it flush ...
