Hi
I'm new to Audi and was reading though the site and have a question.
Just in the process of getting quotes to do the service which also needs the cam belt and idlers etc. Is it advisable to get the water pump done at the same time. I see lots of people having it changed at this service, I just wondered if it applied to my engine. The car is a 2002 A4 2.4 V6 cab.

Regards

Paul

yes defo....otherwise cost to change it will be fortune, cuz you have to take belt off to do the job

x3 would also replace the thermostat whilst your in there, bought
my car a few months back with belts & pump all been done very recently
only to have the stat go a month ago with it being (yes you've guessed it) in behind the pulleys:applaus::keule::sob:

Hi Guy
Dose any one Know the part No for the thermostat for 1.8t (190)
Thanks
