When I got my car, the dealer had lost the original handbook, so no data sticker to see there (they eventually provided a replacement book, but no wallet, cheapskates). Any suggestion as to where in the car the other half might be? Looked under boot floor, and under space saver.

You have already looked under the boot floor and in the spare wheel well so I think both have gone.
I was in a similar position when I bought mine but someone had kindly removed the one from under the boot floor as well....

My in vehicle data sticker was stuck to the sound deadening behind the lefthand rear storage bin in the boot. Carefully tug it to remove it and it should be there
