VCDS Lancaster area

I have the RNS-E stereo in my 07 S3 and I think it must have been retro fit as it still has the auto volume adjustment but it just results in the volume moving up and down of its own accord. The car also has BOSE I believe this is something that can be sorted in VCDS as it shouldn't have the auto adjust and BOSE??
