Hi.

After the tracking control light coming on and off intermittently. And having a cheap obd reader flag it as the steering angle sensor. I've bought a sensor. But I need to calibrate once fitted.

Is there anyone in the Bracknell area who has access to vCom who may be able to help please?

Are you sure? I remember mine calibrating itself after just a few turns of the wheel.

Do you mean after you fitted one?

It does go out after a few rotations of the wheel but comes back on in 5 mins of driving. The fault code references a power supply to the sensor.

Ive a friendly ex Audi tech who is going to fit. But If it doesn't send the light out ill need to re calibrate it.

After fitting the new sensor, which is within the clockspring, immediately behind the steering wheel, it recalibrated itself after driving just 1/200 meters.
